SHIPPING POLICY

Azra Mehdi Jewelry currently only ships jewelry within the United States and to Canada. All jewelry is shipped in a custom white wood lacquer jewelry box that can be used to store your jewelry. Orders are shipped in secure packaging through insured, reliable shipping methods. 

All orders generally ship within 1-2 business days of when the order is placed, except for special or custom orders. We offer free standard shipping on all purchases over $500 within the United States. Additional charges will be assessed for overnight shipping based on the client's delivery address. Clients in all other countries are responsible for payment of all shipping, customs duties and other fees, as applicable. We also offer local delivery within 25 miles of our main office in Beverly Hills. The client is responsible for paying shipping and appropriate insurance on all returns and exchanges.  Special and custom orders could take anywhere from 2-8 weeks depending on the complexity of the order. 

Although rare, there may be instances where shipping an order may take longer due to supply chain issues or unavailability of specific gemstones, or other components. We will endeavor to keep the client updated should such an instance arise.

Gemstone Treatments

Azra Mehdi Jewelry only works with natural gemstones. It is customary, however, to treat many natural gemstones to achieve enhanced color and durability. Gemstone treatments in any Azra Mehdi Jewelry are transparently disclosed in the product description section of each jewelry item.  
Gemstone Care 

Gemstones are nature’s miracles and are generally quite sturdy. With a little care, all Azra Mehdi Jewelry will be as beautiful for many generations as they are today.  The following are some basic tips to care for your Azra Mehdi Jewelry.

Where possible, remove jewelry when engaging in vigorous activity that could damage it.  Although diamonds are very hard and thus very durable, other gemstones may not endure activity in the same manner.  Be careful not to expose your gemstones to the chemicals in household cleaning products, hair care products, fragrances and cosmetics. Wear your jewelry last when getting dressed and avoid spraying fragrance directly on your jewelry. 

Store your jewelry in the cloth-lined box provided by Azra Mehdi Jewelry ensuring that it is not touching or rubbing against other jewelry items to prevent it from scratching.

We recommend that you clean your jewelry periodically either with a non-acid-based cleaner or in a solution of mild dish soap and warm water. Soak the jewelry for about an hour and then using a soft toothbrush, scrub gently, especially behind the gemstone where dust and soap residue can collect.  Rinse well with warm water and pat dry with a soft cloth. Do not use home ultrasonic steam cleaners because they could damage certain types of gemstones and could even cause gemstones to fall out of their settings. Avoid strong detergents, heat and pressure - colored gemstones may fade in constant light or with heat.
