The Japanese Mom necklace depicts the humble word for mother in Japanese, 母 (haha), although there are other variations. The use of 母 (haha) in this pendant was by design since this is the word one uses when speaking about your own mother, rather than to refer to other people’s mothers.  The square shape of the pendant is also by design because it's one of three symbolic shapes in Japanese culture – it symbolizes a prolonged state of presence, when the God within has awakened.  The symbolism of the reference to one’s own mother in a heightened sense of awakening deeply influenced the Japanese Mom necklace design.

The Japanese Mom necklace is made from solid 14K Yellow Gold weighing ~ 6.5 grams and framed with 0.50 carats of G Color, VS1 Clarity natural white diamonds. The pendant comes affixed on a 1.3 mm Anchor Chain measuring 18 inches adjustable to 17 inches.

We advise clients to promptly examine their purchased jewelry to ensure that it is the correct item and fit. We permit refunds and exchanges of jewelry items purchased through our website only if the request is made in writing by email to help@azramehdijewelry.com within seven (7) days of receipt of your order. The client is responsible for shipping the jewelry back to us via an insured and reliable shipping method in its original packaging. There is a ten-percent (10%) restocking charge for returns. Jewelry items being returned must be in unused, unworn condition in their original packaging. We reserve the right to reject requests for refunds or exchanges where wear and tear on the jewelry item is apparent. Determination of wear and tear is at the sole discretion of Azra Mehdi Jewelry staff.

All custom and special orders are final sales and not eligible for returns, refunds, exchanges or store credit. All jewelry returns or exchanges should be securely packaged, insured and made using either Fedex or UPS addressed to 9171 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 500, Beverly Hills, CA 90210.
